Dr Wayne Tinsey, the founder of Our Common Heart, is an experienced educational leader and celebrated international speaker on education and spirituality. Through Our Common Heart, Wayne offers educator and student formation experiences, leadership coaching and mentoring, as well as spiritual accompaniment and support. Wayne offers these opportunites and more through in-person meetings, on-line presence and through the Our Common Heart blog which is accessible through this website.
Educator and Student Formation
Wayne has worked with educators and students in over 24 different countries. He has a unique understanding of the challenges confronting education globally.
Through Our Common Heart, Wayne offers inspirational and challenging keynote addresses and tailored workshops to large and small groups and gatherings. Topics include:

Spiritual Accompaniment
The mission of Our Common Heart is to support and promote the spiritual journey. Wayne has a strong academic background in the world of religion and spirituality. He was Professor of Religious Education and founded the School of Religious Education at the University of Notre Dame Australia.
More importantly, Wayne has dedicated his life to the spiritual search beyond any particular tradition and speaks with a unique voice in a world of many faiths and none. Wayne is happy to share his wisdom through one to one dialogue and support.
Leadership and Vocation Mentoring
Wayne is one of Australia's most experienced education leaders. He has led large education systems throughout Australia. Wayne founded and was Global Ambassador for Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders, a global network of some 240 schools.
To accompany a Doctorate and two Masters degrees in Education and Theology, Wayne is also an accredited NLP Coach and Hypnotherapist.
Wayne is passionally committed to the promotion of leadership as a calling and vocation. Our Common Heart offers mentoring, support and supervision to existing and aspiring leaders in both one to one and small group settings.

Wayne has authored two books and written hundreds of academic and less formal inspirational pieces. He continues to be a dedicated writer and consumer of wisdom from all cultural and spiritual contexts.
